What we couldn't verify

We only publish what we could confirm on an official Iowa source. These are the open questions from our latest review. Ask the Iowa Department of Veterans Affairs (IDVA) about anything here.

  • DOT quotes kept short to avoid mismatches.
  • No Iowa state tuition waiver specifically for veterans (beyond Guard INGSS and Children of the Fallen) was confirmed from an official page in this pass.
  • Iowa DOT plate fees and Iowa DNR lifetime license fee not reviewed directly from DNR fee schedule; $7 figure is from IDVA.
