What we couldn't verify

We only publish what we could confirm on an official Rhode Island source. These are the open questions from our latest review. Ask the Rhode Island Office of Veterans Services (Department of Human Services) about anything here.

  • No state VSO directory found on vets.ri.gov; vsoFinderUrl points to the RIVets intake form (state case management). Accredited VSOs can be found via the VA OGC accreditation search (not reviewed).
  • DMV Plate Fee Table amounts for non-DV veteran plates not reviewed.
  • No state veterans bonus program and no general state financial assistance program found on vets.ri.gov (lists mostly federal/nonprofit resources). Not marked none_offered because absence isn't confirmed by an official statement.
  • The Military Family Relief Fund page says the fund 'is not a State Agency or Federal entity'; it is listed on the official OVS site.
  • Many vets.ri.gov benefit pages were last updated 2021-2023; statute or agency pages were used where possible.
